dont use them restrictive ,especially drivers side manifolds,I had a 440 in a 67 barracuda notchback and gained over 1.5 seconds running fenderwell 1 7/8 tubes with 3.5 collectors, the 67s drivers side was the most restrictive of the 3 years made, buy a set of hooker super comp 2 inch tubes with 3.5 collectors if you want good flow, that bowed in drivers side is garbage, I have 1968 big block A body k-frame,the type mount that bolts to the front of the engine but after gettin the fender wells I just sold the manifolds, dumb move ? yes ,as I had all the original parts that folks want today,never look back, its too depressing........

this is MOPAR CHARLIE, i would strongly recomment using Schumaker Creative Services, under chassis big block Headers, this is for A-Body 67 + up w/ the big block engines

why? the fenderwells are simple to install, they give great hp, clear everything,they are virtually within6 inches of the body, give great clearance, especially with the 400 strokers,allow easy plug changes,simple exaust system required,they give the car a great look,etc,etc what are the advantages of under chassis? price? I think the hooker super comp fenderwells give more hp than the schumacher, im hooked on hooker charlieps they just look flat out great on an A body charlie

I think fenderwells have their place for A bodies but some people prefer the look of underchassis headers like TTI etc. Some people don't want to cut and chop up their cars.

If you want to keep the stock appearance of manifolds you might want to look at this site.

They make a drivers side manifold that looks stock but out flows stock manifolds by 30%.
Not bad priced at around $450.00 for a custom manifold. It may seem expensive but try finding and buying an original...
