Big block bellhousing

I have a factory aluminum bellhousing casting # 2892513 which would be OE on big block 70/71 E-bodies or 70-74 B-bodies using a 10.5" or 10.95" clutch.

I'm not sure if it would work for an a-body but maybe someone on here knows.

It's in good shape,no cracks or visible damage.

Big block a bodies have bell housing 2468372 (though you can use the 370, and I have also read some say it is the 2536945).

From the little I know, this one has a 4.805" bearing retainer diameter, and the a body BB one has a 4.354" bearing retainer diameter. Plus the tranny mounting holes look different.

Does anyone know if this bell housing can work with an a body BB?
