Up for sale is a set of virtually new Hooker Super Competition fenderwell exit headers. Hooker part number 5215HKR. I purchased these a couple years ago with full intent to use on the race car. Plans changed and ended up building my own set.
In preparation to use on my car, I altered the #2 tube to clear the down bar from the firewall to the right front frame. My chassis is tied together at the shock mount to the down bar, and the header would not clear that area. This modification will do nothing except make the right side header fit only better and it was done right. The welds have been blended in nicely. You can see this area in the pics as it has a fresher coat of black paint.
The headers are unused, no fumes have been thru them. They do have scratches and a bit of grey primer on them from working around them while installed in the car during the build process.
2" tubes, 3 1/2" flanged collector.
Painted black, just as they came from Hooker, although it is not high heat paint.
Retails new at Summit Racing for $605.95.
Sell for $475.00 plus shipping or local pickup.
They are heavy, so the shipping cost will reflect the weight.
PM for info.
