where was a big bolt pattern 8 3/4 rear used from the factory
under an A body?

I've always wondered about the '68 Hemi A-bodies. Didn't some come with 8 3/4's & some with Dana 60's? Wheel bolt patterns front & rear?

The auto ones came with 4.86 gears and 8 3/4 rear..bolt pattern unknown

I thought they went to the 5x4.5 in 73. But I’m probably wrong.

Factory production A-bodies did when they had disc brakes up front. The '68 Hemi Darts & Cudas weren't street legal and a unique situation that I was curious about. Seems the question was brought up before somewhere. The Dana 60's certainly wouldn't have a 4" bolt pattern.

they were 4-1/2" bolt pattern.the parts were listed at one time in the original? DC catalog. or maybe in the brake section of the chassis manual. and technically i guess no BP 8-3/4 came "from the factory" in an A-body.

ZERO production A bodies came with 8.75 and 5x4.5" pattern. Only the 68 SS Hemi cars. The last year for the 8.75 in the A body was 1972. In 73, you got the 8.25 in the large bolt pattern if it was a disc brake car. The small drum brake cars got the 5x4" pattern all the way to 1976.
