I can still remember a car mag talking about the success of his first rear engine dragster

"Saw a 5/8 bolt down there in the traps"

It's gotta be weird for those guys on the track to not hear some big ear splitting monster take off.
You can hear the tires flexing on the takeoff.

There's also another one with him running the elect dragster to a 7.56 @ 159 mph. All you hear is the tires and a little motor whine and he's gone, LOL
