Bigger tires on a 73 Swinger

My car is a 73 Swinger with a decent running motor and fresh transmission, etc, etc, etc.... I am wanting to put a 10 inch rim with M/T 28x13.5R15 on it. What all needs to happen? This is my first real car that i am putting together. If anyone can PLEASE help me out with this i would really appreicate it. :shock:

you need to read the members resto threads. there is so much info to be had. there are so many options here that it would be impossible to answer in one post. it has everything to do with how much money you want to spend, what kind of duty this car will serve, what tools and equipment you have etc etc. you have given such a broad description of what you are looking for.
