I got some Bilstein shocks, but am have a hard time finding installation instructions. I figured out the enclosed sleeve question...not for A Bodies. I need guidance on the rear bushing orientation though. One side of the bushings seems to protrude further and have more of a taper than the other. Which way should they go?
I know the boot/silver eyelet goes up.
Thanks

Are they new or used?
I would use that offset bushing to either tuck them closer inward or out to avoid interference rubbing on the housing. I would normally say they are wider side inward toward the axle. But more info is needed.

Maybe as a senior citizen, I must have forgotten the concept regarding the shock bushings... tapered side gets the cup washer and nut.
