Blacked out Hood?

I've searched the forum and only came up with a few " I think its this color Black" or " This is what I used".

I'm sure there is a proper way to do it with just about any black paint. What I would like to know is what did you use and do you have any pictures?

I plan to black out the hood and the grill on my 70 dart and would like to see some others first. Thank you in advance.:thumbup:

mine is in my sig- i used Matte Black paint- i did have a body shop apply it seeing as i am not much of a painter. but i love the look!

Organisol Black was the original. Go you your local PPG paint supplier and ask for DCC9355. Unlike what some may say, correctly applied, it should look like suede black - just like the pics.
