Blasting Media

Any tips???....I just picked up a syphon system 50 lb bucket....I 'm going to blast the replacement radiator support and frame for the Duster...What media should I use???...Once I blast can I recover the media if I blast on a tarp???...Most media is too expensive to just let blow away...

I've been using blasting sand in my sand blaster. You can get a 50# bag at Home Depot for about $10. You can reuse the sand as long as you screen out the large particles, and keep it bone dry.

In the concrete section, right between the "Playsand" & "Quikcrete". If they don't carry it, check out a place where they make headstones. They blast the engravings into them, might even be cheaper & maybe get some advice.
