65 Barracuda, 273ci 2v, drum brakes. Brand new to me so Safety first, do the brakes

Replaced all the pads, hardware, wheel cylinders and a line to the passenger rear. Note, cylinders came with bleeder valves already installed (yeah!)...

Finally got to bleeding the lines and noticed that the driver side front cylinder has a 1/4 bleeder valve while all the others are 5/16..

PITA! the hose used for the others is too large and swapping wrenches et al...

Is there a reason for this, or just cheap Chinese parts. Suppose that I can swap out a 5/16 valve?

It's to help offset the weight of a driver in the car.

Not!:D

Probably different suppliers, or possibly even just a different manufacturer.
Clean up one of the old 5/16 ones and use it if it will work out that way, and if it bugs you that much return them until you get what you want.
