I have somewhat of a dilemma in regards to the molding that goes on my car. (1970 Dart) The molding was removed at the time I purchased the car, but I have all six pieces.

I am trying to decide whether or not to put the molding back on. I am working towards getting the car painted in the "not too distant" future (Lol)

My dilemma is that I also want to install the dual hood scoops that were available in 1970 darts as an option. I don't know if it will look okay with that combination… dual hood scoops with the body side moldings.

I am sort of committed to putting on the side moldings because of the large (3/16") holes left on the body, probably too big to fill....

Any suggestions? (BTW, if anybody has a sample of the clips that hold the side moldings on, I would love to purchase them. PM me).

Or if you have a picture of your 70-72 Dart with dual scoops and body side moldings, post it up!

Thanks

Depends on the condition of the mouldings. If you can't get them looking brand new, then keep them off.

I personally think darts look best with NO side trim, and especially that rocker moulding they had looks awfull, IMHO
