Borla on a 318 car?

not sure if its a 318 but even if its a 340 or 360 the sound will closely resemble a 318.

I personally don't like it as much as a flowmaster super44 or hooker super comps or something
 
Hmmmm, it doesn't have that rasp, but it does have that deep sound. I'm currently running duals with unknown mufflers and no connection between the two pipes, and it's not enough for me :/ What would those Hooker Super Comps sound like on a 318?
 
I cant find video of them on a small block mopar but they sound pretty good.

another good sounding muffler that is affordable are thrush welded mufflers.

nice deep tone.

That's a neat soundin exhaust! Say for that rasp what would I be looking for? Magnaflows?
 
After a good look I really like the Super44 and the 40 from Flowmaster, I've just heard they don't flow too well. I've heard good things about Magnaflow and Dynamax. Hahaha, sorry if I ask too many questions, I just want to do my exhaust once. xD
 
Have you heard pypes violators with the x pipe? I think thats what i am getting here soon

I've got the Cherry Bomb Vortex mufflers on my Magnum, they have the deep throaty rasp that sounds good.
 
I did some looking and summit seems to have some of the best prices. 117 for the x pipe and 62 a piece for the mufflers. I think the truck just has the mufflers.
 
Hmm, about 10 dollars cheaper than the manufacturer. I'll have to talk to my exhaust guy to see what setup I can use. Thanks!
 
Here is a flowmaster set up on my stock 318 Dart. No H or X pipe. Just true duals all the way back.

Beautiful car! I love the way your car sounds, I have the same setup as you, it's just I don't have flowmasters, actually I don't even know what I have under there. lol!

Thanks. That is exactly the way I bought it. Now the engine/trans is out, the rear is out and it is in the middle of a minitub and a 340 transplant. The front 3-4 feet of pipe off the manifold looks to be 1 7/8" pipes (real tiny) into a 2 1/4" the rest of the way back into Flowmasters and then out the rear bumper.
