If anyone out there has put the AR Engineering Viper caliper kit for 11.75" rotors on their A-body, I'd like to see some pix of the brake hose routing and also get the length of the hose you used.

I'm putting them on my Barracuda and the info from ARE says to get a 17" hose from Goodridge. 17" seems a little long for my car, maybe because the early A's are narrower. Just want some input before I buy hoses.

Thanks!

i have that setup on my 67, since its goin to rain tomorrow i'll be wrenching and i'll get some pics and measurements for you, not sure of the differences in years though. -pauly

i forgot to measure them but they appear to be 17".

Thanks very much, Pauly! This helps a lot. I was wondering if the hoses should go between the tie rod and the control arm or not. Looks like you have them routed to go in that space between the tie rod and LCA.

This gives me a good place to start.

two more quick questions -

Where did you get the drilled & slotted rotors and does that banjo fitting on the brake hose have a 20 degree bend?

Thanks again for your help!

no, banjo bolt isn't what andy recommends in his instructions, its a 30 degree i got from russel (i think, it was awhile back and i can't find the invoice for those lines). the slotted/drilled rotors i got off egay. -pauly
