I have a 74 Dart which has no brake lights at the moment. All other lights work including the rear signals. I have no power at all coming into the switch but power is good at the fuse block and through the fuse. The wiring between the fuse block and the brake switch seems to go through the steering column/ignition area. Is this correct? Are there any common problem areas between the fuse and the switch to check? Any little pieces auxiliary that could break that circuit in that area?

Thanks

There is one wire on the brake light switch that is/should be hot at all times. If Power isn't there you'll need to check the fuse, its holders and the connection on back side of fusebox.
The switch contacts send power on the other ( white or off white ) wire directly to the signal harness connecter. Then up the steering column and through the signal switch.
