Brakes - Caliper mounting

I still run factory disc brakes on my car. The calipers are mounted on the front. Just curious if I were to swap spindles side to side and mount the calipers on the rear if that would help anything or not. It would be moving a little bit of weight rearward, but didn't know if anyone actually compared the two options and the difference it made.
 
If moving them puts the bleeder at the bottom, you will not be able to bleed all the air out.

yes, people do it all the time to make room for a swaybar.
