My wife says no more cars, but it’s X-mas time. After i spontaneously told her this morning i was going to pick up a duster an hour away from us. She didn’t really believe it. Turned into a 7hr ordeal getting it out the woods and home with my son. The hunt and recovery adventure was worth it. 71 B5 slant six, had a repaint so not really B5 currently, decent shape, rust in the usuals but not at all terrible. Not sure of the plans with this one, get it running as is for now. I have v8 power plants laying around but this one is all there so it should run we shall see.

Its was last registered about 5yrs ago and the master cylinder went out so they parked it, was their grandmas car. She sense moved out of state. I just wished they had it covered, water got in I’m hoping the floors are not to bad but we will see once I get under it and rip out the carpet.

This is awesome to see! Great looking car! I just completed a Mopar parts picking west coast tour with my boy and then my dad, son, and I went to get our own 71 Duster down in Texas.
I definitely wouldn’t be into mopars without my dad and my son has sold out to Mopars. Whatever it is though, Father/Son time is the best time.
 
I agree anytime with my two sons is great. I thought they weren’t into cars but are actually they are coming around. Nathan in the picture is 16yrs old. He just got a 2011 v6 challenger a few months back, after I rebuilt the top end on it for him as his first car. Since driving he’s now slowing getting the car bug.
