I bought a steering column for my project and it came with this brushed aluminum shifter. I'm pretty sure it's not the right one for the column. The ignition is chrome as is the turn signal lever. The roll pin that fits in the column knuckle is way too big for the hole in the shift lever also.
I also think the part that goes inside the knuckle is a bit too small because the lockout isn't working right either.
I saw on a steering column rebuild video that the 70 E body came with the brushed turn signal levers...
