Bucket Seats

I have a 68 dart with bucket seats. What is the easiest way to tell if these are the orginal seats in the car. If not how do i tell what year/ possible make and model did they come out of. They are powered seats they look original it doesn't look like anybody tampered with them the wiring harness to the seats looks factory. They need to be recovered and i would like to make sure there from a 68 dart. Any help would be great. Thanks

For a start check the fender tag if it's still there (engine compartment). It will at least tell you if they were buckets/bench/split bench.

Legendary Auto Interiors catalog shows pictures for most years and makes. You can match up insert patterns. There website probably has them too.

I don't believe there was ever a factory power seat installed in an a-body. Show a pic.

Jim, I think you're right. I don't ever remember seeing or hearing of power seats in an A Body.
