I am building a kinda kustom dash for Tara's '71 swinger. What do you think?

I am going to paint the frame low gloss black with blue metallic and the bezel is the same color as the car.

I used a '68 rally dash and got rid of the lower pad and the ashtray, I also molded in the ing key hole.
I will post some more pics in a bit when I am farther along.

Yes that is a rally dash that I cut for a modern stereo the car isn't stock so why keep the stock radio in it?

Well dun :thumleft: Looks like it will look real good
Waiting for an update

got some paint on. looking darn good.

it's a dark dark blue with metallic that I don't think I am going to put clear on.
I do have to re shoot it though because I left a few sanding scratches in the primer. not a big deal Ill let it dry then scuff and shoot.

I still need to do some repainting on the bezel but I am now going to go play with a wiring harness! whoot whoot:

Are you going to put some aftermarket gauges in those dash holes ?

How about aftermarket AC, might want to pull out your
OEM controls to plan your mounts.

Looking beautiful man, keep the pics coming!

well I bought a repo style tach to fill the center hole but it is getting the stock style rally's again.
The nice thing about living in the great northwest is we really don't need A/C! just roll down the windows and you have 6 by 60!
The car is a '71 so the vent windows pull in a lot of air at speed.

more pics tomorrow or the next day depending on how long I have to work.
