Heres the result of a 7,500 RPM pass on my buddy's 351 stroker.

Pretty much the only thing work keeping is the intake and valve covers. All the rest is scrap.

The crankshaft can be used to make a unique mailbox holder if he lives rural?

Been there, got the bowtie T shirt.

He knew he was pushing well past the limits of a hydroroller but it was making good power so......keep pushing.....right?

WRONG!

:lol::rofl:

Thats about right, a 4.00 stroker at 7500 RPM is 5,000 fpm piston speed. Forged crank, pistons and aluminum rods plus the fasteners to keep it together. Why spin it that hard?

5000fpm is a 56 MPH piston@ x grams reversing direction 125 times a second.

He owns a custom machine shop and builds very high end engines.

It was some what of a R&D.

I said it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. This was in his 1986 4x4 Bronco so it's not a light ride...

Now hes going even bigger. That thing was scary with that 408... how long till he destroys the next one with DART stamped on the side....well, I'll let you know..
