Bumper cars

Ok so I've looked all over the web at pictures of bumpers 1967 -69.. My Dart 270 came with the bumpers that have the black padded vertical push bumpers mounted on them . I know this isn't right for a 270 car, so I got to looking around and found them on 67 thru 69 GTS cars but not all GTS have them either. What option constituted having them or not. I thought I would throw it out to the experts. This is a picture of my bumpers.

68 seems to have been a bizarre year for Darts. Some have the grill splitter, some don't. There's no rhyme or reason for it.

The bumper guards are a bit less mysterious. They were included in most White Hat Special packages (with and without vinyl top). They were also available as an individual option; 481 - front, 482 - rear, and 483 - both. This information would show up on the build sheet. Since these are bolt on items, it is possible they were added post-sale.
