Has anybody tried Tri City Plating?
Tell you what, I picked up a bumper @ Carlisle from these guys. mistake...didn't look at it before I left. Got home and unwrapped it on Sunday, and OH MY FREAKIN' GOD!!!! it is beautiful!!!!! Finish was perfect, until I flipped it over and saw two, 1" cracks, completly through the metal, at the top of the bumper.
Monday morning after Carlisle I contacted them, sent them some pics, and they promised to make it right. Got my new bumper from FedEX yesterday...BEAUTI - FREAKIN'-FUL!!!!!!
These guys are great, their service is fantastic and their product is out of this world. I HIGHLY recommend them.
 
I had the bumpers for my 73 Duster done by them......it took a while but I think it was worth the wait.......I opened them up and WOW.......they were so shiney that the smallest piece of dust showed up! Can't wait to put them on the car once it's done with the new paint and body work (currently in progress).......

Yes,tri-city does great work,i've got a set of their bumpers on my duster,and they did the set on the duster i sold...
 
Thanks Eric, Up here it costs $600 a bumper and the quality is not that great. I guess I know where I will be getting my new bumpers.

I spoke with Porter earlier in the week and my bumpers should be here today.... after almost FOUR MONTHS! I sent the damn things out the first week of APRIL!

I'll let you all know later what they look like. 8)
 
My bumpers arrived this afternoon. Wow.... They look F`in GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!

Kudos to Tri-City Plating. Even though it took almost FOUR months turn-around to the day.... :angry7:
 
One place to stay away from is "Bumper Boyz" from California. They are at many shows around the country with a semi truck.
Bought front and rear bumpers for my 66 Barracuda, and the only lasted about 18 months on a drag car that is drive once in a while to cruises. Bumpers are so rusted they look 30 years old. They offered me a 10% discount on replacements
