Burn-Out Video...FINALLY

-
I hear ya man!

I see your videos and I feel like I'm squeezed into a little box with other cars, signs, curbs,people..you need get out into the country some! lol

:snakeman: HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE :snakeman: :cheers::cheers::cheers::toothy10::toothy10::toothy10::toothy10::cheers::toothy10::cheers::toothy10::snakeman:

Sorry for the crappy video clips.... I'll just HAVE to do it again. :toothy10:

We usually have to scurry off to remote areas to do stupid things like this.... therefor that's why we are dodging parked trucks and so on. It's not easy stretching your legs up here in the big city. I remember when I lived in Lancaster County, Pa. we could do stuff like this on Main St. Here in Queens, N.Y. you have to get as FAR AWAY from the community as possible. Even if it means street racing at truck depots.... Next set of videos we'll try and find a better location. This was all done on impulse. Next time we'll prepare better.

Such as spraying some WD-40 on my lower quarter panels so I don't have to clean rubber off of that new paint.... :angry7:

This car is always worth looking at again.

scrub that off.

Will you fire that videographer???? His film quality sucks.......At least get a 2nd year film student! We need to see some really drop the hammer down fun, in a safe environment though. I bet it felt good doing that.

John-
That was COOL! Right in the middle of traffic too! Screw them! LOL
Man, I wish you would get my car to run like that! It barely goes up a hill.

Congrats on a job well done dude!!!

George

That yellow duster behind you looks familiar there's a guy that comes down to e-town every year, and it looks just like the one he had down there this year,i always forget his name,he's there every year same as me and my crew, but he seems to have a different car every year and we stay at the same hotel..by the way nice video..

The yellow Duster was owned by a guy from the Bronx. I too have pictures of that car from years past at E-town. This picture below is from 2007.

My friend Tom bought it earlier this year and has been beating the wheels off of it ever since.

And I promise a better video with more smoke...and noise....possibly Police....

Nice vids John! So how close did the tail really come to that moving truck that was parked. My first look I couldnt help but think that you had to be crapping your pants as the rear got loose! But I also thought that maybe it wasnt as close as it looks on the vid. Looking forward to more!!

It wasn't the fault of my friend shooting the vid. It was the camera and the way I downloaded it. I have 2 cameras, one is a regular mp3, the other is an mp4. It mistakenly downloaded the mp3 as a 4 and I can't figure out how to get it downloaded correctly. And I used my old Sony camera because of the better pictures and video quality.

It really wasn't that close. Now, as for the FIRST time I dropped the hammer it was a little different. I lit `em up in front of my dealership and when I pulled 2nd. gear I almost crossed into on-coming trafiic, got sideways, and put it up on 3 wheels. I wish I had THAT video... that's where I almost unloaded in my shorts.... My co-workers thought I was gonna waste it right there. :angry7:

Collage point industrial area? I know I 've been there before. Just can't place it in my head. Most of Queens is right tight for anything like that. Spring can't come soon enuff for a nice track day.

You ain't kidding about them potholes. They'll suck a deep sump off your car like a plasma cutter....that's why my car has a bit of a high ride height to it.

That video was shot down the block from the Bellachico's bread factory in Queens Village. That's the Jamacia line of the Long Island railroad in the background. That back street runs ajacement to the tracks and has been a test & tune strip for decades. It's about 4 blocks from my house and I can remember as a kid hearing open header type stuff being run over there late at night.

You just have to navigate around a few things at times.... :-D

OMG! I deleated a line for the OE post just before I posted it up saying Is that alongside the Jamica tracks. Thats on the Southside of the tracks aint it, east of the station.
