I attended the California Autofest this weekend at California Speedway
in Fontana, it was kind of hot but getting to meet Chip Foose of Foose
Designs made it all worth while. What a cool guy he drew up a few sketches for me in just a matter of minutes. I did'nt bring my Duster up
to the show, I am still waiting for my dash board to be returned from Just Dashes in Van Nuys, it is has only been 12 weeks! Anyways Chip
Foose was a real down to earth guy, there was not a lot of people left on Sunday so I was chatting with him for about 20 minutes!
I drove down to the show in one of the Buckaroo communication tours
we hooked up with a corvette club, a mazda miata club, and a mustang
club, it was cool because we all drove up together and it made the ride up there more fun. I drove my 800 horsepower 5.0 mustang yeah I know it is a ford product but I would rather beat the crap out of this at the track than use my original mopar. I beat up on a couple of vettes and camaros on the way down there but a 12:1 compression motor and 418
cubes it was sucking c-16 like crazy it costed me about $300.00 in gas
but was worth it, only used the juice once had to shut down a viper and zo6 vette at the same time on the freeway, hated to do that to a mopar
but I don't like to lose!

Foose seems to be a cool guy,at least that's my take on him from his TV show Overhaulin.
Good show but they REALLY need to do a Mopar(maybe a Scamp  )enough with the GM cars already!
