I bought and drove a 69 Roadrunner 20 years ago but had to sell it to makeup some house payments. The Mopar virus was still in my blood a few years later when I was smitten by a 69 Barracuda convertible rusting away on a side street. The kid was going to "fix-it-up someday". But I was hooked! I traded my 80 Olds Cutlas hotrod for a premium trimmed 69 notch-back Barracuda with a poorly done 383 transplant in place of the original /6. It is now a "faithful" 'CUDA440 clone with a stoutly built 440 from a motor home and a 4-speed OD 833 trans. with ALL period correct Mopar and DC parts. A couple years later I found a wrecked, numbers-matching, 69, 340S, convertible and resto-modded it. A couple of years later, I picked up a 318 68 Barracuda notch-back form an 83 year-old retired school teacher who bought it new from Pasadena Chrysler-Plymouth, (it still has the Pasadena dealer frames). Just this April I bought a B-body 63 Fury, 318 Poly, from an impound lot. My sons and I do most of the work (except paint). I belong to the very active.. Chrysler Performance West club in Los Angeles Our "Spring & Fall Fling" shows are the biggest Mopar shows west of the Missippi. I have never run any of my cars on a track but drive them regularly. I may be nearing retirement, but I still play with cars! www.CPWclub.com wish I could post pictures here
