hey guys,

i was wondering how hard it is to remove and install cam bearings on my engine (440)

is this something extremely hard to do? or can i do it myself? i know i need a tool but im pretty sure that i can rent one from a tool place by me.

any help would be great, and if you know any good article or videos it would be a huge help.

i would like to learn how to do it.

and finally is the install tool the same as the removal tool?

thanks

marc

Not that hard to do but you DO need the proper tool. Lisle used to make a nice one.

Great tutorial Rob...this tool would pay for itself in three engine builds if I were still back in Abilene.

Thanks. Yes it would. I like tools though and if I only ever use something once and never again, I'll usually buy it unless it costs a bajillion dollars.

Indeed-that's the beauty of tools though...just because they're designed for a particular purpose, they can often be reasonably used for other apps.

Aint forgot about yer backin plates either.
