Use as is. If the cam is that big of a problem in your head, go fo a spit duration. A few degrees smaller on the intake and a few larger on the exhaust from where you stand now. The power difference will not be alot.

185 with a big cam like that? You can't go smaller or with one that develops cylinder pressure and run pump fuel of any kind. Your exhaust port doesnt flow very well, I would not runa single pattern cam, or the larger headers. I'd be looking at the TL300S8 Comp solid. It will need matching springs, maybe retainers and locks too. But it's 266°@.050 intake and 274°@.050 exh, and a little bigger, so check piston to valve clearance with what you have.

I'll tell you thew same thing I tell anyone who asks about cams. Call Jimmy at Racer Brown. (410) 866-7660. Tell him exactly what you have, exactly what you want to do, and if they don't have the perfect cam for your application they can cut it for you. They even cut the installed position into the cam so you don't have to degree it.

Thanks guys I talked with some one at racer brown a few weeks ago and he recc. the stx212or 22 cant remember of top of my head I got it wrote down some where.....and I do want to put this on the pump gas this time.......
