Cam question

Whats it mean when a cam has no numbers on it.
It was in a 383.
Want to check and see what lift, dur etc it is.

Direct Connection cams just had a paint code marking, no numbers on back.

You need a dial gauge, holder and some V blocks to check the duration and lift--that is the best way, even if you have the cam card
