Hey guys, I'm thinking of taking my solid lift cam and lifters out of the Duster and going with a hydralic set. My car is 340,hooker headers,750dp carb,2800 stahl,no power brakes,3.91 rear. I don't race it. Mainly cruise it. Any suggestions on what brand? I think it is 20 over. Thanks Mike

I have a Comp Extreme Energy XE268H in my 360, it's making approx 370 HP based on 1/4 trap speeds.

I think this cam is a great street cam pulls hard from 1500 rpm right up past 6000 rpm. The idle at 700 rpm is almost as smooth as a stocker, likely be a little lumpier in a 340.

The Comp Extreme series, Lunati VooDoo series or one from Hughes are all modern fast ramp designs that will give you more duration at 0.050" for a given advertised duration which helps with low end power without giving up the top end.

That's what I'm after. Street manners but, good perfomance. Thank you.
