its the stock grind 340 hp cam and is a good one for a 318 upgrade.

WoW! Resizing inorder there. Wooooooooooo!

The numbers;

Grind number. When you call the manufacure, you give them this number that will tell them exactly whats going on with the cam. More than just what the card says.

I'm lost on int/ex numbers. Where it says @ .286 and .296
Got me on that one.

The next numbers are the duration @ .005 lifter rise. When the lifter rises that much, the mark where the cam is, where the valve is and how long it takes in degrees from opening to closeing @ .005
Thats the advertised duration (268/276)

Next are the duration @ .050. Same as above, but the numbers get smaller because there needs to be .050 lift instead of .005 lift.

Those numbers can be entered into a desk top dyno or similar program for a more acurate prediction on power. There there mainly for you to know where all the action is taking place on the cam and valve action. You can check it with a degree wheel and adjust the cam back and forth a few degrees to adjust the power curve on the RPM scale.
It's very good for racers looking to tune the cam by dialing it in for best results per car, chasiss set up etc....

It's seriously way more info than you need.

ooooooooooooo, Thanks
Silly me. I should have known that. Duh on me.
