Hi, installed 499 CID wedge in 67 A-body and while installing clutch bellcrank happened to knock release fork off throw out bearing. Anyone know if possible to reinstall without removing trans? Am not sure how to get release fork back under the spring clips. Any suggestions and/or magic tricks appreciated. Thanks

I did it on my dart. Dropped the inspection cover and slid the fork in. Easy work!

I used to do so on my B bodies all the time. Been awhile, since I changed a Mopar clutch LOL

I`ve done it with my small block, but no way no how with my particular big block bell and fork.#-o

Thanks for words of encouragement. Have a lakewood 2-piece scattershield for a bell but might have enough room through window where fork goes into bell. Will take a look this afternoon. Will keep all posted.

Success!!!! Took a couple tries but got the fork back in. Thanks again to everyone who took time to reply and encourage. hopefully by this time next week will have everything buttoned up and engine running.
