Can SBP front drums be driled for large 4.5 BP

yea, I have. I sent my hubs to Moser and they re-drilled the 4.5 and I used a bolt pattern template to mark and drill the drums. works just fine and stops as good as drums can. There is enough material on the front hud to drill with out welding up
 
i knocked the 4.5 circle studs out of an adapter bolted it up and drilled with a 1/2. inch bit thru the adapter as a pattern and used rh studs with a .520 knurl. instant 4.5 ,some weld up the material where you drill but you can use thick i/2 washers on the studs when you install them to reinforce the thin part of the hub
