I am back halving my 72 dart and can't find a decent set of rims on the "too" cheap side. We are throwing in a 12 pt roll cage, 4 link, and narrowed dana 60. I have two choices to mock up for free just to get the project rolling. I can use a set of old wheels with 5 back spacing or turn the wheels around mock up 6.5 back spacing. this is on a twelve inch wheel and if I decide to go with 14 inch wheels it gonna give me 6 inch or 7.5 inch back spacing. The other option I have is use my dads current set up with a 4 inch back spacing making a 14 inch 5 inch back spacing, add a 1/2 spacer and wind up with 5.5 back spacing on a 14 inch wheel. So now that I have everyone confused the question is since I have decided to run 32 x 14 x 15 inch slicks What would be the pro and cons of runing these on a 12 inch rim? A 14 inch rim? The cost between rims is roughly 30 bucks.
