Cant figure out where it goes? Need Help!

I have a wire coming out of the firewall behind the power booster/master cylinder in my '74 Duster. It is shown with the arrow in the picture below. It comes out of the firewall and heads to the passenger side along the firewall with the harness from the bulk head.

This picture was from when I first got the car, 5 years ago. I have pulled that engine, broken rod, and have redone the engine compartment.

Unfortunatly the wire disappears in all of my pictures, I cant tell where it goes or what it goes to.

Can anyone help me out? :help:

It looks like I have 2 wires coming out of there and I have them taped together. One is going to the heater motor. (If you look in your picture, right under where your AC lines go through the firewall, there is a little square plug. That is where one of mine goes.)

The other one goes up the side of the intake and connects into the harness that goes to the choke and the alternator.
