I'm waiting for summer! I'm ready to get racing again.
Last year wasn't very good as we were mainly experimenting with the stocker as it had some electrical and fuel problems at the beginning of the year. The super gas car was just inconsistent all year. The only notable things is we went to the semi finals in epping for the national open.. Won a $2,000 local bracket race. But the rest of the year was just plain bad.
The year before was very good. The car was super consistent and we runner upd at a national open. Went to the semis at the ignagrual New England Dragway National meet and Won the New England Dragway Divisional and won several bracket races.
So last year kind of messed us up because there was no shift light in the stocker so this year it is getting a new tach with a shift light and a new pro trans to try to gain a tenth or two. We had no clue why the Supergas car was way off.. It would run 9:90 then 9:99 and then 9:83 it would be all over.. So we sent out the weather station and got it all rebuilt and re calibrated. We found a couple ratios off in the computer and when we took the tranny out the band was broke and the whole thing was not in good condition so that would explain that.. All in all we hope to have a better year this year and can't wait!!
