Love the vinyl top
Back in the day it was so popular
My 1st car a 1967 barracuda coupe had black vinyl top and had my uncle paint the car midnight blue
But back then several of my cars had vinyl tops and. My last car to have a vinyl top was a 1969 Cougar that was torquiouse black top and interior and was absolutely beautiful
Yes if they sit out and gets wet they do tend to cause rust. But the factory didn't paint the tops on most VT cars, just primer. So one with actual paint under the vinyl will hold up much better than factory plus our cars today usually get babied and not exposed to the elements like they did 45 years ago.
I'm not a fan of green but looks much better with the vinyl. Buddy just had his 69 Camaro done in the fact report color very close to the Cuda in this thread. It would look so much better had he put a black vinyl top on
