Any suggestions for carb/intake combo for a near stock 440.I'm putting it into a 70 Swinger(Schumacher mounts).Will I be able to keep stock hood without adding hood scoop?Thanks.

A nice dual plane intake, with a 750 Holley. This should fit under the hood, and will give you gobs of torque.You could even go a little bigger on the carb.

I am doing the identical thing to a Dart Sport right now. A mellow 440 and all.
My understanding is that the RPM will not clear. I have a weiand Team G and it won't clear either they say.
Many guys like the Holley Street Dominator I think it is. It clears and produces good HP even though it looks like a smog intake.
I am not wanting to cut my hood either.

The Street Dominator would be an excellent choice. Hence the word "street". It is fairly low profile also.
