I bought a kit for my holley 1945 and it came with two different needle valves, looking arround i see other kits also come with the two different ones. wondering if anyone knows why, and which one would be the right one to use? Thanks!

Because that kit has two top cover gaskets, and three body to baseplate gaskets, it's obvious that kit was made to fit a wide variety of that model carb, through the years.

I'd day the needle/ seat that's correct should be obvious, in the way that it fits the port, the float, etc, and probably looks just like the (working?) one that was in the carb.

ok i'll take a look at it, i bought the carb used and it had the needle/seat removed at somepoint before being stored for a few years. Having never rebuilt a carb before, I thought i'd check with the experts before starting in on it.
