Anyone have any experience using carb spacers with the air gap manifold? Thinking of trying a 1/2" open spacer with the air gap under my 3310 w/pro-form main body, instead of milling the divider. Anyone mill the divider on the air gap? Please advise and thanks. TLB.

no

Must be the Chevy one that does because all the pictures I have seen had the notch.

Id uses a HVH Street sweaper with it. Its made for the air gap. My 340 made 17 horse power more (average not at peak) with it then with out.

HVH street sweeper? Adam I am not familiar with that please explain and thanks for your replys. TLB.

I put a one inch open spacer on at the track and picked up .20 and felt a difference. Worth the hood clearance issue to me.

I just had enough room to fit the Air Gap under my hood with a dual scoop
A body scoop on my 73 Duster. Had to take the bottom of the air cleaner
and almost smash it flat to fit. With a Eddy 750 carb.
Good luck. Green Duster

Don't have the room for 1" spacer under carb. Air cleaner lid rubs hood to much. Will try 1/2"..I'm sure that will work. Need to allow some room for engine movement under load. Mike your car has air under the tires in that photo..good leave..TLB.

Now Mike, some of us might have the original of that pic somewhere....

You guys make me laugh...out loud..hee, hee, ho ho, ha, ha...didn't somebody make a song like that? Going out to the garage now...spacer, spacer,..where did I put that carb spacer...TLB.

Adds up to 47 HP naturally aspirated, and 500 HP with nitrous oxide ????
