Folks, i am looking for the stainless strips that hold down the carpet in my 63 Dart GT convert. This is not the sill plate but the one that you can see when inside the car. Runs the entire length of the interior, from the kick panel to back under the rear seat. I am looking for a NOS pair but would entertain a mint set of used. If anyone can help with the actual part of if someone can help with the part # that might be helpful in my search.....THX
 
Are you sure it's stainless? I've only seen aluminum ones. There should be repops available. I got a new set for my '66 Barracuda at one of the car shows.
 
I agree with cudamark, every one I've ever seen is aluminum. Good to know repops are out there, a fact I was unaware of. If your car is really nice I'd consider buying new. Used ones on east coast are usually corroded and used ones on the west coast are usually beat to death.
 
Repo's were available.....however, I am currently out-of-stock on those, and I have absolutely no idea of any kind of ETA when we might be getting some more.
 
NO idea at all? Would a group buy stimulate a production run? Or has something more sinister happened such as your source manufacturer in foreclosure/bankruptcy? It would break my heart to think these will never be made again.
 
ive got 2 good ones,last set i sold i got 100.00 ea + 25.00 fedex,guy was happy to get them,good luck for cheaper
 
I have some with the typical dings and surface oxidation if you can't find anything better.
