[FOR SALE] Carter 2 barrel carb

Have a Carter 2258 two barrel off a 318 for sale. Had rebuild this summer at the Carb Shop in White Bear Lake, used all summer ran great. Pulled motor for rebuild and going with four barrel set up. Asking $75.00 plus shipping.
Have air cleaner that goes with it if interested

What year is the carb?

Would that be on the tag? If so I'll have to look. It was on a 1979 318 motor but not sure if it was original carb with motor.

It looks very similar to the 73 carb I'm currently running on my 67 273 ( tickled pink with it ). Well except I didn't close the bowl vent. Lets hope that cap was put on there after the carb was removed, Or maybe the cap has a unseen hole poked through it. Anyway... it wouldn't work well with the bowl vent closed.

The carb guy never said anything about vent being capped, ops: was like that when I got it and after rebuild. hmmmmm What does the vent hook into? air cleaner, breather or something else?
