casting # question

will any short tailshaft trans fit a 67 cuda or69 dart?

gonna pay $100 for it if it ill work

tail c99126-3
cover c95664z
housing c99129

any help would be greatly appreciated

C-99126 - tailshaft is for 1969-71 A-body transmission

sounds like an a-body 4 speed and for 100 sound like a deal!

I don't know much about em but figure $100 aint a bad deal even if I gotta replace some gears during a rebuild.

some of the engaging teeth were a bit rounded...figure better to replace...

gears were cleac no rust or pits...so

anybody know what it may cost to rebuild? worst case and best case...

new to mopars and never owned 4spd

avg price for a good one is 4-500 around here. So 100 is a gift. rebuild brass and bearing no hard parts... 5-800 parts and labor.

cool that aint too bad...collecting all the misc parts 2 do the conversion is gonna hit the wallet hard

if this one pans out a good unit. It will save you a nice chunk from the conversion expense.
