Center cap change between 70 and 72 A-Body?

I want to swap out the center caps on my wheels from the large style used in 1972 to the smaller acorn style used in 1970. Is there anything about the rims that would prevent the center caps from being swapped out?

There shouldn't be... just a unscrew and screw on job. I doubt the factory would have created new mounting pattern for the different centre caps.

The cone style centers will bolt right up to your wheels. I like that style better too & used them when running ralleys on my 72...

Just make sure you get the correct bolt pattern centers for your application.
