center section trade ???

Damn - I have a 3.55 chunk that's got less than 5k miles - however, 4.56's are too steep for me - I'm looking for 4.10's. Good luck!
 
Don, why doesn't your friend just put 3.55 gears in place of the 4.56 gears?

I would really like to have another center section with 4.56 gears and still have my dependable 489 3.55 for the long trips. Maybe one of these days.

Hi mullinax95, I have a complete, narrowed 8 3/4 rear with a 489 center section that I just took out of an old 68 Barracuda race car. The car has been sitting for over 15 years. It's got 4.56 gears but I don't know if it's a spool carrier or sure grip. I haven't taken it apart yet but I can do it in the next couple of days if you might be interested. I have someone interested in the housing and Strange axles so I'll have the center section available for sale.

man if they were 4.10's or even 4.30's i would trade him but 4.56 is too much gear for me. theres gotta be someone out there that has something to trade him.

I really appreciate it Ken but I have not worked one day this week... I think my boss is about ready to tell me to file for unemployment. I'll survive because I'm single and no girlfriend. LOL!

I've got Yukon axles, and green bearings so I'm ready to have another carrier that I can switch in and out at will.
 
Single and no girlfriend. That's the best way to be. Same here but with a wonderful, absolutely awesome 8 year old daughter. Certainly Daddy's little girl. See below.

If things work out and I can help with the center section, let me know. But I think we should get back to Don's original request for help for his friend. We certainly got sidetracked.

KEN no reason to be sorry,, um i didnt realize you lived in the white house,didnt look lke that when i was there,,lol
 
i have a center with 3.23s i believe and could use those 4.56 in the future for drag only
