I was looking at the Centerforce II pressure plate for my 71' Duster 340. I already have a brand new disc but the pressure plate is bad. What all do I need and what exact pressure plate did you guys go with. I was looking at the CTF-CFT361739 from Summit. Alos do I need their throughout bearing as well? What else is needed?

I bought the C.F dual friction clutch and pressure plate kit, they recommend removing the overcenter spring(your decision wether to or not)also you don,t need a C.F throwout bearing. You can use stock.

I have the Centerforce II set-up and it rocks, shifts like a new car!! Works great on the street and drag strip. You may want to run the Centerforce disc too, sucks you have a new disc but it may work better this way, plus, you will have to pull it out anyway. I am also running the Centerforce throwout bearing, not sure if you have to or not with their pressure plate.

Also, my disc is a brand new Hayes. I assume that it should work fine with whatever pressure plate. I cant imagine that dimension wise there too much different from the Centerforce disc.

Myself,I would get the C.F disc also. That way you not mix-matching your stuff. My 2 cents.Do it once and you,ll be happy!
