I have this centerlink. It's shorter than the 68+ a's that I have. It does have a drop, not sure if it the right one for a 63-66 A body. The place I got it from was almost all 63-66 stuff.

hey crackedback i just got under mine and it looks like from the center two holes they are about 17-1/2'' center to center and the outers are about 21-1/2''. the drop is about 1-3/4'' for the V8 link. the measurments might not be dead on but close as i couldn't find the jack and i'm a little fat to get all the way under it.

That's about the same measurements as this link.

Drop is in the 1 1/2" range

Thanks for the help!

If it's a V8 link is it worth $50 or so? I want to sell it if it's as appears to be a V8 link.

I just pulled one of my early A V8 centerlinks from the rafters, measurements match as does the picture. $50 is a good deal.

That looks like the dropped one in my 66 Dart.Just touches my 360 pan enough to remove paint in areas.Guess I need to shim abit LOL.

i believe that is a /6 center link in the first picture. looks exactly like the one in my car.

I agree. That looks like a 6cyl center link; both my Barracuda’s have more drop than that one.

I also think it is a 6 cyl link. I found another pic of them together. I wish now I had taken more time with these comparisons. Lawrence

Well I guess mines a 6 then,but the 360,s in and barely touches?I thought you couldn,t get the 8 in there.New schum.mounts also.

Cool, don't want to sell something that isn't right.

Thanks for the info.

i have a 360 in mine with a /6 center link. it touched just barely but i shimmed the motor mounts 3/8" for more clearance and its fine.

Yes, it's a /6 center link. Both measure about 22 inches oal, but the V8 center link is 1" thick vs about 7/8 for the /6. EZ to remember this way, no need to measure the "drop"
