Ceramic Headers

I have a set of 1 7/8" Hooker ceramic headers on my SB Duster. Is it normal for the ceramic coating to dull out over time, and if so is there any way to keep them shiny and good looking for shows. Thanx!

yes they will dull and yellow with time and temperature. The only thing I know of to clean and shine them is to rub them down with chrome polish (something real mild ) but that produces another set of problems (polish burning off) I was going to try some comet or ajax on a damp rag but never got the chance to on a customers exhaust.
