O.K. here's the scoop, I bought a project car 1969 Dart Swinger 340 and was able to find out the names of some of the previous owners, the one owner stated that he had some front end problems of some sorts and ended up swapping the front suspension and k-member from a challenger in place of the original Dart stuff. Does this make sense and is it even possible?
I don't know maybe he just swapped the challenger front suspension parts, I still don't know if that is even possible, Maybe I should call him again and confirm. Of course this was probably 20 years ago and memories get a little foggy..
The car is totally taken apart, there are two k-members with the car right now, one the current owner states is a 6 cyl member and the other he said is the original one(most likely the mysterious challenger one).
How do I tell them apart and are they a direct swap over? Which one should I use to put the car back together again? Or should I go shopping for a different one??
