im going to paint my car to a different color than puke green lol and i need some opinions on what to go with? please help!

I always paint my cars the original color…. regardless of what that may have been.

I find orange…. red…. so overplayed that they aren't even interesting.

That's my opinion.

I've often wondered if this is actually true. I hear about "everybody" painting their car red or orange, but if you look through the posts of FABO members cars, red and orange don't seem to be any more prevalent than other colors. Maybe we need to start a poll of car colors to prove or disprove myths about colors like "he painted it resale red" or "only the green survive".

I like green. Mabby just a different shade though. Some thing like F'ing loud azz green should do it.

The only thing about going with a BMW color is when people ask what color it is and you say 07 BMW Blue….. It can make you sound like a douchebag.

So if you use it call it something else. :)

Silver with a black stripe would be nice but I like the green thats on it.

I like squeezeit tilit turns blue.
There were some attractive aqua marine shades of bluish and silverish greens in the mid seventies.
Dare I say GM colors ?
too late :)

My duster is going plum crazy purple with satin black 340 stripes and satin black hood and scoops.

purple may be a played out color too I suppose but I am not trying to make a one off....I just think it looks good and stays true to mopars vibrant color pallet.

I really like a gloss black duster with satin black stripes and some chrome here and there to set it off.

I do agree that orange is played out.....and something about the red just makes me think "old dodge truck" dont know why lol.

ultimately its your car and your choice....but atleast with a mopar you have a vast array of colors to choose from!

how about a chip foose type design with chevy/ford/ and gotta throw in a honda color for the ricers:) Seriously though, it is your car and everyone has their own idea of the perfect paint job. I would do whatever you like and fits in the budget. good luck.

All A-bodies should be puke green..

...or babyshit brown- your choice. :-D

Seriously, I actually like good ol' Mopar green, so that'd be my first choice. I don't like most of the high impact colors.. if I had to choose other than green.. I've always really liked brown metallic colors.

i think ill either go purple or silver
Silvers and other light metallic colors tend to fade a lot easier than solids or darker metallics. Just an observation...Although I'm sure keeping a good coat of wax on it and if it has a spot in the garage, that will help a lot!
