Changed the exhaust on my car for a complte TTI

I was retuned after the change .

It is not running lean .

What's the O2 read out?

Going to a stepped header, and H--pipe and a 2" shorter muffler isn't going to negatively affect the car like it did.

What was the timing before? I'd like to see an O2 readout.

Something is off here and it isn't the exhaust.

Maybe the 1 7/8 header would have been a better choice than the stepped header ?

What engine is it? Usually short tube headers deliver power in high rpm while long tube are better for low and mid range.

Before was hedman tight tubes 1 5/8 into mandrel bent 2.5 pipes no x no h , now TTI 1 5/8 - 1 3/4 stepped headers 2.5 pipes ]

According to you, no. This would be contradictory to everything you've said. You said it ran better with the small tube headers. You now have stepped headers, which are kind of a stepping stone or middle ground between straight 1 5/8's and straight 1 7/8's.

Hmm that's weird ? My brother had those shorty ones and when he went to long tubes it picked up big time.

Strange as in the test the tight tubes made more than the long tube 1 5/8 headers a bit less than the TTI ,Hed tt 322 HP 416 TQ hookers 319 hp 423 tq , TTI 327 HP 425 TQ , other test show more TQ for the tight tubes
